The windows are months from project start, several of them overlap because they genuinely do, and the shading on each bar is real completion read from the repositories rather than a mood.

Every few seconds the same chart fades in one month later, because the phases are joined end to end and a month lost at the start is a month lost at the end. That is the part a schedule chart is usually drawn to hide.

One schedule decision worth knowing about. The cross-VM router and the Compute Mesh contracts ship together at mainnet rather than being phased in afterwards. That means more code to build, integrate and independently audit before launch, and a longer runway to get there. It buys a platform that is whole on day one instead of an ecosystem split in half for its first year. It is a real trade against speed and we would rather name it than present a shorter timeline we do not believe.

Four networks, in order

Chain IDs reserved, not yet live

Each one has its own chain ID. That is deliberate: if they shared one, a transaction signed on testnet could be replayed on mainnet.

    Alpha plus both engines, the router, a faucet and the explorer. This is the one developers point their tools at, and it keeps running through mainnet and past it.

    Fair launch. Does not happen until every audit is closed and testnet has real continuous runtime behind it, not a demonstration. If testnet slips, this slips with it.

Alpha and Beta are the same network at two stages, so they share an ID. Alpha is closed: Deep Freeze and Absolute Zero backers get in, and so do security researchers working the mining bounty. Everyone else joins at Beta, which is open to all and needs nothing from anyone. Mainnet does not launch until testnet has genuine continuous runtime behind it, and if testnet starts late then mainnet moves with it.

    Get the company, the community and the first two GPUs in place. Nothing here is the chain yet, but nothing after it works without it.
