Us or offshore
A lower hourly rate, or a team that works your hours.
Teams in lower-cost countries charge less by the hour, and Clutch's published rates show by how much. Here is what that buys, what it costs you in other ways, and where we fit.
// In one sentence
What each one is
Atheron Network Labs
A small Canadian development studio that builds web and mobile apps, AI systems, bots and blockchains, and runs products of its own. Every estimate comes from a published rate card.
Offshore
A development firm in another country, often with lower salaries, that builds your software remotely.

// Said plainly
What offshore does better
- A lower hourly rate. By Clutch's published figures, companies in India, the Philippines, Spain, Mexico and Ukraine charge US$25 to US$49 an hour, well under the range it prints for Canada.
- A deep bench. Large offshore firms can add people quickly when a project grows.
- Round-the-clock cover. A large team spread across regions can cover hours yours does not, if you can live with handovers between them.
// Choosing
Who should pick which
Pick them if
Pick an offshore firm if the hourly rate decides it, the scope is written down in detail, and someone on your side can manage the work closely.
Pick us if
Pick us if you want a Canadian company on the contract, Canadian taxes and invoices, working hours set around yours, and a fixed price in Canadian dollars before work starts.

How we checked
- A figure about anyone else is printed only where we read it on a public page, linked here with the day we read it.
- Agency rates are Clutch's published ranges, from its verified client reviews. They describe the firms Clutch lists, not any one firm.
- Where a route is many firms or people, the honest answer is often that it depends, and the table says so.
- Names are used to compare, nothing more. We are not affiliated with any company named on these pages.
