Project rescue
Stalled builds, back on track.
A supplier left, the build stalled, or the system you depend on keeps breaking. We read what is there, make it stable first, then finish it or move it to a modern stack, one piece at a time, while your business keeps running.

Documentation
// how we work
Stable first, then better.
- We read before we change. The first weeks are spent learning what the system does, not rewriting it.
- Tests go around the old behaviour first, so we know the new code does the same job.
- The old and new run side by side, and traffic moves across in steps you can undo.
- We tell you plainly what is worth keeping and what is not, even when keeping it means less work for us.
// stack
What we usually move you to.
- web
- Next.js, React, TypeScript
- services
- TypeScript on Node.js, or the language your team knows
- data
- PostgreSQL, with the rules in the database where they belong
- hosting
- DigitalOcean by default; AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Hetzner or Vultr when you need them
- tests
- Vitest, property tests and mutation testing around every change
// a typical first project
A takeover review.
We read the code, the servers and what is left to build, then hand you a written plan to stabilize it and finish it, with a price for each step. Book a call to start.
// questions
Questions about rescue work.
Do you always rewrite it?
No. A rewrite is the riskiest option and often not needed. We keep what works and replace what holds you back.
We do not have all the code or the logins. Can you still help?
Often, yes. We help you recover access to what you own first. What we cannot recover, we tell you, with the options.
Will our users notice?
We plan for them not to. Changes go out in small steps, with a way back for each one.
What if the system is in a language you do not usually use?
We read most languages. If moving it is the right call, we move it to a modern stack. If it is not, we say so and keep it running.
