Cloud and operations
Servers you never have to think about.
We move you to the right cloud, cut what you pay for it, and automate how code reaches it. Then we watch it, back it up and answer when something breaks, on a monthly plan you choose.

On-call operations
// how we build it
Boring on purpose.
- Everything we set up is written as code and kept in your repository, so nothing lives only in one person's head.
- A backup counts only once a restore from it has worked. We test restores on a schedule.
- Firewalls allow only what each server needs, and each service gets its own login.
- Every machine is watched by another one, so a server that goes quiet is noticed.
// stack
What we usually build with.
- clouds
- DigitalOcean by default; AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Hetzner or Vultr when you need them
- delivery
- CI/CD pipelines with tests, staged releases and rollback
- infrastructure
- Infrastructure as code, containers where they help
- data
- Managed PostgreSQL with point-in-time recovery
- watching
- Uptime checks, metrics, logs and alerts, kept in your account
// a typical first project
A review of what you run today.
We read your setup and your bill, then hand you a written plan: what to move, what to cut, what to automate, and what each step would cost. Book a call to start.
// proof
How we run our own
Our own servers are snapshotted and our databases dumped every eight hours, the backups are checked, and a verification server re-runs our checks every four hours.
// questions
Questions about cloud and operations.
Do we have to use your cloud account?
No. We work in your accounts, so the servers, the data and the bills stay yours. We can also host it for you if you would rather.
Can you lower our cloud bill?
Often, yes, but we only know once we have read it. The review shows what we would change and what each change saves before you decide.
Will the move cause downtime?
We plan every move to avoid it, with a rehearsal first and a way back. If a short window cannot be avoided, we agree it with you in advance.
What does on-call cover?
What your plan says: what we watch, how you reach us, and the patching we do. It is all written down before it starts.
