Accounting integrations
Books that reconcile to the cent.
Your books stay in step with your store, your CRM, your ERP and your payments. We build custom apps on the QuickBooks Online API, with a dashboard that shows every record that did not sync, and why.

// how we build it
Every record accounted for.
- Before we write a line, we map every field with your accountant and agree what happens when the two sides disagree.
- Every sync is idempotent: a record sent twice is recorded once.
- We build and test against a QuickBooks sandbox company first. We move to your live books only when the sandbox reconciles.
- The integration never deletes anything from your books unless a person approves it.
// stack
What we usually build with.
- api
- The QuickBooks Online Accounting API, with OAuth 2.0 and webhooks
- runtime
- TypeScript on Node.js, with a queue for retries
- data
- PostgreSQL, holding the mapping and a record of every sync
- sources
- Stripe, Shopify, your CRM or ERP, through their own APIs
- hosting
- DigitalOcean by default, or your own cloud
// a typical first project
Two-way QuickBooks sync.
Customers, invoices and payments kept in step both ways, with a reconciliation dashboard. Open it in the estimator to see what it would cost.
// questions
QuickBooks questions.
Do you work with QuickBooks Online or Desktop?
We build on QuickBooks Online and its API. If you are on Desktop, we can move you to Online first and check your history afterwards.
Are you an Intuit partner?
No. We build on the public QuickBooks Online API. Your QuickBooks subscription stays yours, and so do your books.
What does it cost to run?
Our hosting and support are in the estimate. Your QuickBooks subscription is separate, and Intuit may charge for heavy use of its API. The estimate lists what applies.
Whose Intuit developer account is the app on?
Yours. An app built for one company is registered on that company's own Intuit developer account, so the app and its credentials belong to you. We build and test it there, with the access you give us.
What happens when a record will not sync?
It waits in a queue and is retried. It also shows on the error dashboard with the reason, so someone can fix it before month end.
