Restaurant ordering apps

Direct ordering and the kitchen tools behind it.

Every order placed direct is one the marketplace does not take a cut of, and every count done on a phone is one the kitchen does not retype. We build the ordering apps and kitchen tools around your brand, connected to your point of sale.

// what matters here

What is different in this industry.

01

Ordering that rewards coming direct

Loyalty and offers for guests who order from you, so the next order skips the marketplace.

02

Your point of sale stays the source

Menus, prices and stock come from the point of sale, and orders go straight back to it.

03

Food cost every week

Counts, waste and supplier prices compared with sales weekly, not at month end.

04

Allergens handled carefully

Allergen information is shown as each location publishes it, and questions go to staff.

// example projects

Priced examples for this service.

Each one is hypothetical, labelled as such, and priced live from our rate card. Open any of them in the estimator and make it yours.

Direct ordering and loyalty

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

A restaurant group takes most takeout orders through delivery marketplaces, and its own ordering page is slow and does not remember regulars.

// What we would build

A direct ordering website and iOS and Android app for pickup and delivery, with loyalty that rewards ordering direct, menus and prices from the point of sale, and orders sent straight to each kitchen.

// What is in it

  • Pickup and delivery ordering in a few taps
  • Menus, prices and stock from your point of sale
  • Loyalty points and offers for ordering direct
  • Orders sent straight to the right kitchen
  • Allergen information as each location publishes it
  • Your guests' details in your own database

Kitchen and inventory app with food cost

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

A group of five restaurants counts stock on clipboards, prices recipes in an old spreadsheet, and finds out its food cost was too high only when the accountant closes the month.

// What we would build

An Android app for kitchen counts, waste and deliveries, and a web app for recipes and food cost, reading sales from the point of sale so theoretical and actual food cost are compared every week.

// What is in it

  • Stock counts and waste logged on a phone in the walk-in
  • Deliveries checked against orders and invoices
  • Recipes costed from current supplier prices
  • Theoretical against actual food cost, weekly
  • Screens in the languages your kitchen speaks

// questions

Questions we get about this.

Which restaurant point of sale systems can the ordering app connect to?

Most current systems with an interface. We confirm yours, and any lead time from the vendor, before we quote.

Can the restaurant app handle several locations with different menus?

Yes. Each location has its own menu, hours and prices, and guests order from the one they choose.

Does the kitchen app work in a walk-in with no signal?

It keeps counting without a connection and sends the counts when the signal returns.
