Winery system integrations

Shop, shipping, point of sale and accounts in step.

Most craft producers run four or five good systems that do not talk to each other, and someone spends every Monday copying between them. A small hub, documented and monitored, does that copying for you and tells you when something fails.

// what matters here

What is different in this industry.

01

Entered once

An order, a club charge or a stock change is entered in one system and reaches the others on its own.

02

You see every message

Each exchange is logged, and a failure raises an alert instead of a surprise at month end.

03

Built around your systems

We work with the shop, point of sale, shipping and accounting systems you already use, through their own interfaces.

04

Easy to extend

The hub is documented, so the next system, a new distributor portal or a new shop, is a small job.

Sales systems hub

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

A winery types orders from its shop into the shipping system, club charges into the accounting system, and stock counts into everything, by hand, every week.

// What we would build

A small integration hub between the online shop, the point of sale, the shipping provider and the accounting system, so an order, a charge or a stock change is entered once and flows to the rest.

// What is in it

  • Orders from the shop and club sent to shipping on their own
  • Sales and charges posted to your accounting system
  • Stock kept in step between the shop and the point of sale
  • A log of every message, with alerts when something fails
  • Documented, so the next system is easy to add

Example projectWeb appMobile app

Club and allocation app

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

A winery runs its club from its online shop's back office, so members cannot change a shipment or claim an allocation without emailing, and declined cards are found weeks later.

// What we would build

A members' web and mobile app for shipments, allocations and pickups, with the club's billing, card updates and shipping rules behind it, connected to the shop and the point of sale.

// What is in it

  • Members choose, swap or skip bottles before each shipment
  • Allocations of limited releases, claimed in the app
  • Card updates before billing day, with reminders
  • Pickup or shipping, with the rules for each province or state you ship to
  • Club tiers, member pricing and events
  • Connected to your online shop and point of sale

// questions

Questions we get about this.

Which systems can a winery integration hub connect?

Any with a usable interface: most current shops, points of sale, shipping providers and accounting systems. We check yours first.

What happens when a craft beverage integration fails?

The message is kept, retried, and flagged to you if it still fails, so nothing is lost silently.

Could we start with just the shop and accounting?

Yes. Two systems is a sensible first step, and the hub grows as you add the rest.

Not quite your project?

Tell us what you have in mind. We will come back to you with a range and the questions that would narrow it. Or book a call and talk it through.
