Blockchain in Edmonton

Shared records for parts, certificates and custody.

A blockchain helps when several companies need the same record and none of them should own it: a part's history across suppliers, a material test report, a certificate a client must be able to check. Where a database would do, we say so.

// why it differs here

What matters for this work here.

01

Material certificates you can check

Heat numbers and mill test reports follow steel from the mill to the plant. A shared record lets the owner check each one without chasing the supplier.

02

Credentials that verify themselves

Training records and tickets issued on a chain can be checked by any site with the link, and cancelled by the issuer when they expire.

03

We built our own chain

We designed and built the ATON blockchain ourselves, so the advice you get comes from running one, not from reading about it.

Custody transfer ledger

Meter readings at each custody transfer point recorded on a private permissioned ledger that the operator, the midstream company and the main partners each run a node of, with the agreed volumes passed to joint venture and royalty accounting. If one party is trusted by all, a shared database is cheaper, and we will say so.

// questions

What buyers here ask us.

Do we need our own blockchain?

Rarely. Most projects use contracts on an existing public chain or a small private network. We recommend the smallest thing that does the job.

Are contracts audited?

We plan an independent audit for anything that holds value, and the estimate shows its cost and the time it adds.

Can a private chain run on our own servers?

Yes. A permissioned network can run on your servers or ours in Canada, with each partner holding a node.

A short description is enough. We reply with questions, a range and a time to talk.
