ATON Trading
A platform, a portal and a store.
Three products that behave as one: the site people land on, the portal they manage their plan in, and the store they buy from. One account across all of it, and prices and payment methods that follow the country someone is in.

- A marketing site that explains the product, with the market charts drawn in the browser.
- A pre-order waitlist, and a reserved cart for the people already on it.
- A members portal: plans, orders, gifts and credit, exchange keys, referrals and community standing.
- A store that takes cards, Interac e-Transfer and crypto, with the tax worked out for the country the buyer is in.
- One account across the site, the portal and the desktop app.
// how we built it
- Server-rendered pages first, so the content is in the HTML and an assistant can read it without running scripts.
- Each service signs in to the database with its own login. The site's login can add a waitlist address and nothing else, not even read one back.
- Money rules live in the database, so they hold whichever application is asking.
- The pages are checked by tests that fail the build on a claim we cannot stand behind.
- Five languages on every customer page, written rather than machine translated.
