Carbon and ESG data

Emissions data with its working, from meter to disclosure.

Your emissions number is only as good as the trail behind it: the bill, the meter, the supplier's answer and the factor applied. We build the systems that keep that trail, so your disclosure, assurance review or credit retirement starts from records, not a spreadsheet.

// what you are up against

The problems we hear most.

01

A spreadsheet once a year

Activity data is gathered once a year from finance, facilities and fleet, the emission factors live in a tab, and nobody can say which version fed last year's figure.

02

Scope 3 by email

Suppliers are asked for their emissions in an email with an attachment, half of them reply, and the rest are estimated without a record of how.

03

Bills read by hand

Utility bills and fuel invoices arrive as PDFs from dozens of providers, and someone types the consumption into a spreadsheet, one site at a time.

04

Credits nobody else can verify

Project developers and buyers keep their own records of which credits were issued, sold and retired, and a buyer has to trust a screenshot.

// example projects

Systems we could build for you.

Each one is hypothetical, labelled as such, and priced live from our rate card. Open any of them in the estimator and make it yours.

Emissions platform with suppliers

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

A mid-sized manufacturer works out its scope 1 and 2 emissions in a spreadsheet each year, estimates scope 3, and its auditor asks where each figure came from.

// What we would build

A web platform that pulls activity data from the ERP, fleet and facilities systems, applies versioned emission factors, collects supplier data through a portal, and builds the disclosure tables with the trail behind every number. We help you report; your sustainability team and advisers decide what to disclose.

// What is in it

  • Activity data from the ERP, fleet and facilities systems, by site and month
  • Emission factors stored with their source and version, never overwritten
  • A supplier portal in English and French with a short, structured questionnaire
  • Scope 1, 2 and 3 tables in the shape of the ISSB and Canadian standards
  • Every figure traceable to its records and factor, for the assurance provider

Bill and fuel invoice agent

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

A retail chain with a hundred sites receives electricity, gas and fuel bills as PDFs in a dozen formats, and a person types each one into the emissions spreadsheet.

// What we would build

An agent that reads each bill, extracts the period, the meter and the consumption, flags what does not look right, and sends it to a person to approve before it reaches the emissions records. It uses a frontier model through its API, the fastest start, since bills carry no sensitive personal data.

// What is in it

  • Bills collected from a shared inbox or an upload folder
  • Period, account, meter and consumption extracted and checked against the last bill
  • Unusual values and missing months flagged for a person
  • Approved entries posted to the emissions records with the bill attached
  • An evaluation set of real bills, run before every change

MRV field app and data pipeline

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

A project developer measures forest plots, soil samples and sensor readings on paper and in spreadsheets, and each verification is weeks of gathering evidence.

// What we would build

A field app that records plots, samples and photos with location and time, a pipeline that brings in sensor and satellite data, and a web workspace where the evidence for each monitoring period is assembled for the verifier and linked to the registry's project records.

// What is in it

  • Plot and sample records on the device with GPS, photos and offline storage
  • Sensor and satellite data brought in on a schedule, with gaps flagged
  • Calculations versioned against the methodology the project uses
  • A verifier's view of each monitoring period and its evidence

Tokenised credit retirement

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

A credit platform's buyers want public proof that a credit was retired once and on whose behalf, and the platform keeps that record in its own database.

// What we would build

Smart contracts on a public chain that mirror credits held in a recognised registry, one token per serial range, and burn them on retirement with the beneficiary recorded, plus a web app where buyers sign in with a wallet or email. Tokenised credits raise legal and registry questions that your advisers settle first, and we make no claim about what a credit is worth.

// What is in it

  • Tokens issued only against registry serials held in the platform's account
  • Retirement burns the token and records the beneficiary and the reason
  • A public page for each retirement that anyone can check
  • Wallet or email sign-in, with custody options set by the platform
  • An independent smart contract audit before launch

// questions

What buyers in this industry ask us.

Do you work with companies outside Canada?

Yes. We are in British Columbia and work with clients anywhere; prices are in Canadian dollars.

Will this make us compliant?

No system does that on its own. We help you collect, calculate and report; your sustainability team and your advisers decide what to disclose. We do not give legal advice.

How do payments work?

A deposit to start, then payments at agreed milestones, with 10% held until 30 days after launch. The deposit is a smaller share on larger projects.

Who owns the code and the data?

You do, once the work is paid for, including the calculations and the contracts.

// where we work

Find your market.

We work from Kelowna with clients across Canada, the United States and further afield. Each market page covers working hours, hosting, the privacy law that applies, and prices in your currency.
