Marina help centre

Answers for boaters, in their own language.

Boaters and ferry passengers ask the same questions every season, often in more than one language. A help centre with an assistant that answers only from your own articles takes those questions off the dock office, and passes the rest to your staff with the conversation attached.

// what matters here

What is different in this industry.

01

Your articles, translated

Help articles written once and translated, with native review for the languages you choose.

02

Answers from your articles only

The assistant answers from your help centre and says when it does not know.

03

A person when it matters

Questions it cannot answer go to your staff, with the conversation so far.

Marina bookings and help centre

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

A group of marinas takes slip and moorage bookings by phone and email, keeps boaters' documents in a filing cabinet, and answers the same questions about fuel, pump-outs and rates all season.

// What we would build

A booking site designed around your brand where boaters reserve transient slips and seasonal moorage and pay online, upload insurance and registration documents, and find answers in a help centre with an assistant in several languages. Bookings and payments are posted to QuickBooks Online, built on its API.

// What is in it

  • Transient and seasonal bookings with a slip map for each marina
  • Online payment, with deposits and seasonal instalments
  • Insurance and registration documents uploaded and checked before arrival
  • A help centre in several languages, with an assistant that answers from it
  • Bookings and payments posted to QuickBooks Online
  • A design built on your brand, for phones first

// questions

Questions we get about this.

Which languages can the marina help centre offer?

The ones your boaters speak. We translate the articles and have each language reviewed by a native speaker.

Can the assistant take a moorage booking?

It can point boaters to the booking page and answer questions about it. Bookings and payments stay in the booking system.

Does the assistant give safety or navigation advice?

No. It answers from your own articles about your marina. Safety and navigation questions go to your staff.

Not quite your project?

Tell us what you have in mind. We will come back to you with a range and the questions that would narrow it. Or book a call and talk it through.
