Trucking software

Your trucks, drivers and paperwork in one place.

Your ELD knows where the trucks are, the shop knows what broke, the fuel card knows what you spent and the driver files sit in a cabinet. None of them talk. We build the apps and the plumbing that join them, so your safety, maintenance and settlement work starts from the same records.

// what you are up against

The problems we hear most.

01

Inspections on paper

Pre-trip inspection reports come back on paper or in a photo, defects reach the shop late, and preventive maintenance runs on a wall calendar instead of the odometer.

02

Data in five portals

ELD, telematics, fuel cards, the shop system and payroll each have their own portal, so cost per kilometre is a spreadsheet someone rebuilds every month.

03

Driver files that drift

Licences, abstracts, medicals and training records expire on their own schedule, and the gaps show up when someone asks for the file.

04

Settlements in an old database

Owner-operator pay runs through an Access database or a macro-filled workbook that one person understands, and every deduction question lands on them.

Inspections and maintenance

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

A carrier with several terminals collects pre-trip inspection reports on paper, defects reach the shop days late, and preventive maintenance is tracked in a spreadsheet nobody trusts.

// What we would build

A driver app for iOS and Android for daily inspections with photos and defect notes, defects that become shop work orders automatically, and preventive maintenance scheduled from odometer and engine hours read from your ELD provider's published API. We build to the inspection checklist your maintenance manager sets.

// What is in it

  • Daily inspection reports on the phone, with photos, defects and the driver's signature
  • Defects turned into work orders for the right terminal's shop
  • Preventive maintenance due by kilometres, engine hours or date, read from the ELD
  • Parts used and labour recorded against each unit
  • Unit history in one screen for every truck and trailer
  • Existing spreadsheets moved in, unit by unit

Fleet data warehouse

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

A private fleet's ELD, telematics, fuel card and shop data sit in separate portals, and fuel tax mileage by province and state is rebuilt by hand every quarter.

// What we would build

A data warehouse that pulls from each portal's published API every night, checks the numbers, and feeds dashboards for cost per kilometre, idle time, fuel economy and maintenance spend by unit. Distance and fuel by jurisdiction are prepared for the person who files your fuel tax returns to review. We do not give tax advice.

// What is in it

  • Nightly loads from ELD, telematics, fuel card and shop systems
  • Quality checks that flag missing days, odd readings and duplicate fuel purchases
  • Dashboards by unit, terminal and driver group
  • Distance and fuel by province and state, prepared for review before filing
  • Exports your accountant can open

Owner-operator settlements

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

A carrier settles its owner-operators from an Access database a former employee built, and every fuel advance, deduction and escrow question waits for the one person who knows it.

// What we would build

We start with an architecture review of the old database and write up what it really does, so you decide with the facts. Then a web system replaces it: loads, rates, fuel advances, deductions and escrow, weekly statements in an owner-operator portal, and settlements posted to QuickBooks Online through its API.

// What is in it

  • A written review of the old system before anything is rebuilt
  • Loads, rates, advances, deductions and escrow in one ledger per owner-operator
  • Weekly statements in a portal, with every line explained
  • Settlements posted to QuickBooks Online, both ways
  • History moved from the old database and checked against past statements

Driver recruiting and onboarding

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

A carrier takes driver applications by phone and paper forms, chases licences and abstracts by email, and keeps qualification records in folders that drift out of date.

// What we would build

A careers site and application flow designed with drivers for a phone, in English, French and Punjabi, with document uploads and consent, an onboarding checklist per hire, and driver files that warn before a licence, medical or training record expires. The checklist is the one your safety manager sets.

// What is in it

  • A careers site and application designed for a phone, in three languages
  • Licence, abstract and work history uploads with the driver's consent
  • Onboarding checklists, orientation booking and road test notes
  • Driver files with expiry warnings for licences, medicals and training

Safety and incident assistant

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

Drivers report incidents by phone hours later, details are lost, and staff dig through a thick safety manual and past reports to answer the same questions.

// What we would build

An incident report in the driver app with photos, location and the ELD data around the time, and an assistant that answers staff and driver questions from your own safety manual and policies, citing the section. It runs on an open-source model in your own cloud account so driver and incident records stay private.

// What is in it

  • Incident and near-miss reports from the cab, with photos and location
  • ELD data around the time of the event attached to the report
  • An assistant that answers from your safety manual and cites the section
  • An open-source model on GPUs in your own cloud account

Trailer interchange records

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

Trailers change hands between carriers, drayage partners and yards, and when damage turns up nobody agrees on who had the trailer or what state it was in.

// What we would build

An Android app that records each interchange with photos, seal numbers and both parties' sign-off, with each record fingerprinted on a private permissioned ledger that every carrier and yard runs a node of. A signed PDF with photos often does this job; the ledger helps when several companies share one record and none wants another to hold it.

// What is in it

  • Interchange inspections with photos, seals and both signatures
  • Each record fingerprinted on a private chain with a node for each party
  • A history per trailer that every party sees the same way
  • Alerts when a trailer is handed over without an inspection
  • No token, and nothing is bought or sold on the ledger

Fleet integration hub

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

A fleet's ELD, fuel card, shop software, dispatch system and payroll are joined by staff copying numbers between them, and the scripts someone wrote stop without telling anyone.

// What we would build

An internal API that connects five systems through their published APIs, moves odometer readings, fuel purchases, work orders and hours where they are needed, and sends webhooks when something changes. We run it on managed cloud with monitoring, backups and alerts, so you know when a provider's API changes.

// What is in it

  • Connectors for ELD, fuel card, shop, dispatch and payroll systems
  • Webhooks when a unit, a work order or a fuel purchase changes
  • Monitoring, alerts and retries when a provider is down
  • Infrastructure as code, backups and a written runbook

// questions

What buyers in this industry ask us.

Do you work with carriers across Canada and the US?

Yes. We are in British Columbia and work with carriers and private fleets anywhere; we set our working hours around yours. Prices are in Canadian dollars.

Do you give safety, tax or legal advice?

No. We scope and build to the requirements your safety manager, your accountant and your advisers set.

How do payments work?

A deposit to start, then payments at agreed milestones, with 10% held until 30 days after launch. The deposit is a smaller share on larger projects.

Who owns the software?

You do, once the work is paid for, including the integrations and the data in your warehouse.

// where we work

We work from Kelowna with clients across Canada, the United States and further afield. Each market page covers working hours, hosting, the privacy law that applies, and prices in your currency.
