Esports tournaments

A tournament site and companion app for your formats.

A tournament falls apart when players miss a match call. We build the tournament site and the companion app around your formats and your games, so registration, check-in, match calls and results all happen in one place players actually look at.

// what matters here

What is different in this industry.

01

Your formats

Single and double elimination, Swiss and round robin, with seeding and byes handled the way your rules describe.

02

No missed match calls

Push alerts reach players the moment their match is called, and a missed check-in is flagged to an admin at once.

03

Results both teams agree on

Both teams report the result; a mismatch goes to an admin with the screenshots attached.

04

Game accounts checked

Registration checks players' game accounts and rank through the publisher's interface where one exists.

// example projects

Priced examples for this service.

Each one is hypothetical, labelled as such, and priced live from our rate card. Open any of them in the estimator and make it yours.

Tournament and companion app

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

A tournament organiser runs brackets in spreadsheets and check-ins in Discord, and players miss matches because the schedule changed and nobody told them.

// What we would build

A tournament site and an iOS and Android companion app for registration, brackets, check-ins and match schedules, with results reported in the app and alerts the moment a match is called.

// What is in it

  • Team and player registration with game account checks
  • Brackets for single and double elimination, Swiss and round robin
  • Check-in and match calls with push alerts
  • Results reported by both teams, disputes sent to an admin
  • Stream links and schedules for viewers
  • English and French throughout

// Stack

  • Next.js
  • React Native
  • PostgreSQL
  • WebSockets
  • Game publisher interfaces
  • AWS

// questions

Questions we get about this.

Can the app connect to our Discord server?

Yes. Match calls, results and brackets can be posted to Discord alongside the app's own alerts.

Does the platform handle prize payouts?

It records prizes and winners. Payouts go through a payment provider suited to your region, which we connect where you need it.

Can viewers follow without an account?

Yes. Brackets, schedules and stream links are public; only players and admins need to sign in.
