Multilingual rider support

Help for riders in the languages they speak.

Riders who need help the most often speak another language. We set up a help centre in the languages your riders use, translated and reviewed by native speakers, with an assistant that answers from it and hands over to a person when it should.

// what matters here

What is different in this industry.

01

Your riders' languages

English and French, plus the languages your community speaks, right to left included.

02

Reviewed by native speakers

Articles are translated and reviewed by people, not only by a machine.

03

Answers from your rules

The assistant answers from your articles, fare rules and published schedules.

04

Kept current

When a fare or a route changes, the article changes and every language is updated.

// example projects

Priced examples for this service.

Each one is hypothetical, labelled as such, and priced live from our rate card. Open any of them in the estimator and make it yours.

Multilingual rider help centre

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

A city's transit and parking questions arrive by phone and email in many languages, and the answers live in a website few riders can navigate.

// What we would build

A help centre in English, French and the languages your riders speak, with an assistant on a frontier model that answers from the help articles and your published schedules and fare rules, cites the article, and hands over to a person when it cannot help.

// What is in it

  • Help articles on fares, passes, accessibility, parking and lost property
  • An assistant that answers from your articles and published GTFS schedules
  • Every answer cites the article it comes from
  • A hand-over to staff with the conversation attached
  • Articles translated and reviewed by native speakers

// Stack

  • Next.js
  • Frontier model API
  • PostgreSQL with pgvector
  • GTFS
  • DigitalOcean Toronto

// questions

Questions we get about this.

Which languages can the rider help centre offer?

Any you choose. The estimator prices each language by its words.

Who translates our service alerts?

Your staff or a translation vendor you choose. The help centre keeps each language in step.

Can the rider assistant answer about live delays?

It can point to your live departures page or app. It does not guess about delays.
