Aerospace traceability

Defence records kept where your security team says.

Your serialised part's history lives on a traveller, in an ERP and in a supplier's certificate. Some of it cannot leave the building. We build the systems that join those records on your premises or in your tenant, and we scope them with your security team and your designated official from the first day.

// what you are up against

The problems we hear most.

01

Serial histories on paper travellers

A part's repairs, inspections and modifications are recorded on paper travellers and in separate systems, and building its full history for a customer takes days.

02

Supplier certificates by email

Certificates of conformance and test reports arrive as attachments, and confirming a part is genuine depends on someone finding the right one.

03

Controlled goods kept by hand

Visitor logs, access to controlled items and technical data, and staff registrations are tracked in spreadsheets, and an inspection means a week of gathering records.

04

Data that cannot leave the building

Technical manuals and drawings are restricted, so the tools that would help maintainers find answers fastest are the ones they are not allowed to use.

MRO serialised parts tracking

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

A maintenance, repair and overhaul shop tracks serialised parts on paper travellers and in its ERP, and assembling a part's full history for a customer audit takes days.

// What we would build

A web system and an Android app on rugged mobile computers that scan each part's barcode or data matrix mark at every step, record inspections, repairs and modifications against its serial number, and hold the full history on servers in the shop, with access to controlled data limited to the people your designated official approves.

// What is in it

  • Parts scanned by barcode or data matrix at receiving, each work step and release
  • Inspections, repairs and modifications recorded against the serial number
  • The full history of a part, built in seconds for a customer or an auditor
  • Work orders and parts read from the ERP
  • Servers on premises, with access to controlled data set by role
  • Rugged scanners, mobile computers and label printers listed by quantity

Supplier provenance ledger

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

A prime and its tier suppliers exchange certificates of conformance and test reports by email, and confirming that a part is genuine and traceable depends on finding the right attachment.

// What we would build

A supplier portal where certificates and test reports are uploaded against purchase orders and serial numbers, recorded on a private permissioned ledger that the prime and its main suppliers each run a node of, so the provenance record cannot be quietly edited. If the prime's own records are trusted by all, a database is cheaper, and we will say so.

// What is in it

  • Certificates and test reports uploaded against purchase orders and serials
  • Each document fingerprinted and recorded on a private chain with a node per party
  • Provenance from a part back to the original manufacturer's certificate
  • Alerts when a certificate is missing, expired or does not match
  • Hosted in the prime's own cloud tenant in a Canadian region

// Stack

  • Next.js
  • Hyperledger Besu (private, permissioned)
  • PostgreSQL
  • Azure Canada

Air-gapped manuals assistant

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

Maintainers search thousands of pages of restricted technical manuals by hand, and no outside AI service is allowed near them.

// What we would build

An assistant on an open-source model running on a GPU server inside an air-gapped network, answering from the organisation's own manuals and citing the section, with updates brought in on approved media. Nothing reaches the internet, in either direction.

// What is in it

  • Manuals and service bulletins indexed inside the air-gapped network
  • Answers that cite the manual section, for the maintainer to check
  • Access by role, so each user sees only the manuals they may see
  • An open-source model on a GPU server with no network path outside

Controlled goods register

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

A registered supplier tracks visitors, staff registrations and access to controlled items and technical data in spreadsheets, and gathering records for an inspection takes a week.

// questions

What buyers in this industry ask us.

Do you work with companies outside Canada?

Yes, within whatever limits your programme and export rules set. We are in British Columbia; prices are in Canadian dollars.

Do you hold security clearances?

We claim none. Where a contract requires cleared or registered personnel, we discuss it during scoping, before any work on controlled data.

How do payments work?

A deposit to start, then payments at agreed milestones, with 10% held until 30 days after launch. The deposit is a smaller share on larger projects.

Who owns the code?

You do, once the work is paid for, including the models and the deployment scripts.

// where we work

Find your market.

We work from Kelowna with clients across Canada, the United States and further afield. Each market page covers working hours, hosting, the privacy law that applies, and prices in your currency.
