Mining software

Built for gloves, dust and no signal.

Your crews check their trucks on paper. Your old reports cannot be searched, and your monitoring data sits in a logger until someone downloads it. We bring it together: apps for your crews, assistants for your geologists, dashboards for your engineers and records your buyers can trust.

// what you are up against

The problems we hear most.

01

Pre-starts on paper

Equipment pre-start checks, take-5s and hazard reports are filled in on paper each shift, and a defect noted on one sheet is not seen by the next crew.

02

Decades of reports nobody can search

Drill logs, assays and technical reports from past owners sit in scanned PDFs, and geologists rebuild the history of a target by hand.

03

Buyers want the chain of custody

Battery and vehicle makers ask where the metal came from and how it was produced, and the answer crosses the mine, the concentrator, the trader and the refiner.

04

Monitoring data that waits for a visit

Piezometers, inclinometers and water quality sensors log readings that engineers see only after someone drives out to the logger.

Pre-start and safety app

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

An open-pit mine does equipment pre-starts and hazard reports on paper, so defects found by one shift are missed by the next and supervisors cannot see the state of the fleet.

// What we would build

An iOS and Android app for operators and supervisors with pre-start checklists per machine, hazard reports with photos and take-5 assessments, working offline in the pit or underground, with a web view for maintenance and safety teams.

// What is in it

  • Equipment, spares and consumables tracked across sites with on-metal RFID tags and QR labels
  • Pre-start checklists per machine type, with critical defects flagging the machine out of service
  • Defects sent to maintenance with photos and the machine's hours
  • Hazard reports and take-5 assessments in English and French
  • Works offline and syncs on the site network
  • Fleet status board for supervisors at shift change
  • Records kept to the retention rules your safety team names

Geology assistant for old reports

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

An exploration company has acquired properties with decades of drill logs, assays and technical reports from past owners, mostly scanned, and its geologists spend days rebuilding what is already known about a target.

// What we would build

An assistant that reads the scanned reports, logs and assay certificates, answers questions about a property with the page each fact came from, and pulls drill intercepts into tables for geologists to check. It runs on an open-source model in your own cloud account, because unpublished results are material information that should stay under your control.

// What is in it

  • Scanned reports, logs and assay certificates read and indexed, tables included
  • Answers that cite the report, page and table
  • Drill intercepts extracted into tables for a geologist to check
  • Questions across every property in the portfolio
  • Evaluation set of questions with known answers, run before every change
  • An open-source model on GPUs in your own cloud account

Battery metals passport

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

A nickel and cobalt producer sells concentrate through traders to refiners, and battery and vehicle makers now ask for a per-shipment record of origin, processing and emissions that no single company holds.

// What we would build

A shipment passport on a private permissioned ledger where the mine, the concentrator, the trader and the refiner each run a node and add their step: origin, assays, weights, processing and emissions data, with documents attached. The buyer sees one passport per shipment that none of them could edit alone. Where a single company controls every step, a database does the job, and we will say so.

// What is in it

  • A passport created at the mine for each shipment, with origin and assays
  • Each party adds its step, weights and documents as custody changes
  • Emissions data per step, with the method stated
  • Mass balance checked when lots are blended or split
  • Exports shaped to each customer's battery passport requests

Tailings and water dashboard

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

Piezometers, inclinometers and water quality sensors around a tailings facility log readings engineers see only after someone downloads them, and reports to regulators are assembled by hand.

// What we would build

A web dashboard fed from the site's data loggers through a small on-site server, with readings shown against design thresholds, alerts to the engineer of record's team and reports generated in the format your permits call for.

// What is in it

  • Readings from piezometers, inclinometers, survey prisms and water quality sondes
  • An on-site server that collects from the loggers and buffers when the link drops
  • Thresholds per instrument, with alerts by text and email
  • Trends and plan views of the facility with each instrument placed

Shift reporting system, rescued

Hypothetical. Not a client, not a result.

// The problem

A mine's shift reports live in a web tool a contractor built and stopped supporting; it breaks after every browser update, supervisors keep paper copies, and the data is hard to get out.

// What we would build

A rescue that starts with a written review of the code and data, keeps what is sound, fixes what breaks daily use first, then moves the rest to a supported stack with tests, so supervisors keep reporting while the work is done.

// What is in it

  • Shift data exportable for your other systems

// questions

What buyers in this industry ask us.

Do you work with explorers as well as producers?

Yes. Juniors often need a data and geology system first; producers need safety, monitoring and custody records. The estimator prices each.

Do the apps work with poor connectivity?

Yes. Crew apps work offline, and monitoring runs through an on-site server that buffers data when the satellite or microwave link drops.

How do payments work?

A deposit to start, then payments at agreed milestones, with 10% held until 30 days after launch. The deposit is a smaller share on larger projects.

Who owns the code and the data?

You do, once the work is paid for. Your geological data and monitoring records were always yours.
